What is Quebec CAQ?

CAQ is the qualification certificate provided by Quebec Immigration Department. All international students and temporary workers who want to come to Quebec must apply in advance, otherwise they will not be able to study and work legally in Quebec and become legal temporary residents of Quebec.

CSQ is the proof of being nominated by Quebec, and getting CSQ means passing the provincial nomination.

Provincial nominated immigration means that the applicant meets the immigration requirements of a province, and the immigration materials are first submitted to the Provincial Immigration Bureau, which considers that the applicant meets the requirements and issues a nomination letter. Then, the applicant submits a nomination letter and other forms to the Citizenship and Immigration Department. CIC does not measure whether the applicant meets the selection conditions, but only examines the false statements in physical examination, criminal record and safety investigation.
