What is the ends of the earth?

Located at the southernmost tip of Hainan Island, it is a charming tourist attraction. It faces the blue sea in the south and overlooks the vast South China Sea. The waves are undulating, the sea is vast, sails are everywhere, and Bai Ou is dotted. Dangerous stones stand on the seashore, and famous stone carvings such as Tianya, Haijiao and Nantianyizhu are among the cliffs, which are very spectacular. Mao Dun once described the scenery here, not only describing the scenery of the ends of the earth, but also touching the scene and remembering Su Dongpo's unfortunate experience of being exiled to Hainan Island. The name "Tianya Haijiao" actually refers not to geographical location, but to a record of historical tragedy.

Subtropical seashore

Located in Sanya City, Hainan Province. Sanya, known as Yazhou in ancient times, is located in the south of Hainan Island, which is the southernmost beautiful multi-ethnic tropical coastal city in China. Sanya is also an international holiday resort full of magical colors, which consists of Haitang Luanhe River, Yalong Bay, Yulin Bay, Pen Cave, Tianya Haijiao, big and small caves and other scenic spots. The unique tropical plant landscape and winding coastline constitute a typical tropical coastal scenery.

Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area (a must-visit place) is located at the seaside 26 kilometers west of Sanya City, and reaches the foot of Maling Mountain, the wonder of Tianya Haijiao. At this point, tourists seem to have reached the end of heaven and earth.

In ancient times, the traffic was blocked, and Qiongdao, where birds flew for half a year, was sparsely populated and desolate, which was the place where the feudal dynasty exiled "rebels". People who come here have no choice but to come and go, looking at the sea and sighing, so they are called "the ends of the earth". Hu Quan, a famous minister in Song Dynasty, once lamented that "Wan Li is just a world, and weeds are killing me". The Prime Minister of the Tang Dynasty asked Deyu to pour out his fate with the poem "Once you go to Wan Li, you will never return to 1000". It recorded the tragic life of demoting officials and rebelling in history, and experienced the description of poems written by literati on behalf of literati, making it a famous tourist attraction full of magical colors in China. Here, the clear water and blue sky are the same, the smoke waves are vast, the sails are dotted, the coconut groves are swaying, and there are many strange stones. There are "Tianya", "Cape", "Southern Sky Pillar" and "Southern Sky" carved on the seashore, which makes the whole scenic spot picturesque and beautiful. According to records, the inscription "Tianya" was written by Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty.

"Southern Tianzhu" is said to have been written by Fan Yunti during Xuantong period in Qing Dynasty. There are various legends about the origin of "Southern Tianzhu". According to legend, a long time ago, two fairies of the Li nationality in Lingshui secretly descended to the earth and stood in the South China Sea to guide local fishermen to go fishing. The queen mother was angry and sent Lei Gong and Rem to take them back. The two refused, and turned into two peaks and split into two pieces. One fell into the sea near Li 'an, and the other flew to the end of the world, becoming today's "Southern Tianzhu".

At present, there are bathing beaches, Diaoyutai, sea yachts and other facilities in the scenic area. Tianya Shopping Village, Tianya Roaming Area, Tianya Gallery, Tianya National Customs Garden and Tianya Historical Celebrity Statue, which combine modern architecture with classical traditional garden-like architecture, stand in the Cape Scenic Area, making people dazzled and linger. There are "Ignition Platform", "Wanghai Pavilion", "Huai Su Pavilion" and a winding place nearby, which constitute a multi-level mountaineering resort.
