How do China students apply for a Tier 4 student visa in the UK?

China students need to apply for a visa whether they are studying or traveling in the UK. Students applying for studying in the UK belong to Class 4 visa. Now Bian Xiao will explain to you how China students can apply for a British visa: a fourth-tier student visa.

1.Tier 4 student visa?

PBS Tier 4 StudentVisa (PBS tier 4 officially implemented on March 3, 20091. Under this visa system, all students who apply to study in the UK belong to the PBS Tier 4 student visa. Students with valid British student visas can enter and leave the UK many times during the validity period, and they can also work legally in the UK.

① A valid CAS number issued by a regular British institution recognized by the British government, with a score of 30, and the required complete materials listed on the CAS.

2. What is the procedure for submitting visa applications in China?

Step one:

Visit the UK Visa and Immigration website and apply for a visa online.

Step two:

To complete the visa application, you must make an appointment and go to one of the China 12 visa centers.

(Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing, Shenyang, Chongqing, Chengdu, Jinan, Hangzhou) All applicants must make an appointment in advance. Unscheduled applicants will no longer be accepted.

Step 3:

Please arrive at the visa center 15 minutes in advance on the day of booking application. Bring an appointment form, application materials, passport and another valid identity document. When you arrive at the visa center, you will get a call list. Please wait patiently for the call and submit your application.

Important notice: after submitting the application at the visa center, you will not be able to supplement the materials again. The materials you submit at the time of application will serve as the only evidence for the trial.

Step 4:

Collect fingerprints and photos at the visa center (also known as biometric information collection). This includes digital fingerprint scanning (10 fingers) and digital photography. Fingerprint scanning uses an electronic scanner, which does not need ink, liquid and chemicals.

You must ensure that there are no decorations (such as henna dyeing), knife cuts, abrasions or other marks on your fingers, because these will affect the feasibility of providing valid fingerprints. Your digital photos must cover the whole face, except sunglasses and any colored lenses, and there must be no obstacles on your head except for religious and medical purposes. Your face must be clearly visible, without hair covering your eyes. If you don't provide biological information, we won't be able to accept your visa application.

Step five:

Video interview, short communication, about 15 minutes.

Step 6:

Choose the way you want to get the materials, you can go to the visa center to get them or choose EMS express mail to you.
