Ecological migration, also known as environmental migration, refers to the migration of people who originally lived in nature reserves, areas with severely damaged ecological environment, ecologically fragile areas and areas with poor natural environmental conditions and basically no human living conditions, moved out of their original residence, settled in different places and rebuilt their homes.

Whether people who are affected by the earthquake and then move to another place are ecological immigrants depends on the degree of the earthquake. If the natural environment in which they live becomes bad after the earthquake and basically does not have the conditions for human survival, such immigrants are ecological immigrants.
