According to a search on Baidu Encyclopedia, Zhou Yuqing (1908-1976), a native of Luoshan, Henan, joined the Party in 1927 and joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in 1929. After liberation, he successively served as deputy chief of staff of the Central South Military Region and deputy commander of the Guangzhou Military Region. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general.
