The 2023 general college entrance examination in Hainan Province will be held from June 7th to 10. In 2023, the number of people taking the college entrance examination in Hainan Province was 70,069. There are 18 examination areas in the province (except Sansha City, each city and county has one examination area), 44 test sites and 2399 examination rooms.

The Provincial Department of Education, together with the Provincial Public Security Department, the Provincial Religious Affairs Committee and other member units of the Provincial High Recruitment Committee, strictly guard against cracking down on "college entrance examination immigrants" through big data screening, class roll call, supervision and reporting, strictly guard against empty enrollment, fraud, and strictly implement the publicity system. Further strengthen the qualification examination of candidates' qualifications and bonus points, and earnestly safeguard the fairness and justice of examination enrollment.

According to the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education, combined with the actual situation in Hainan Province, the work plan and pre-plan of 10 were formulated, including the safety work plan for the college entrance examination, the detailed rules for the implementation of the examination, the emergency plan for emergencies, and the risk prevention and control work plan for the college entrance examination.

The provincial examination bureau has organized modular examination training in mid-May, focusing on examination implementation, emergency response, technical support and information submission. More than 8,300 examination staff in Hainan Province have completed the training, and the passing rate of the first examination has reached 99.3%. Cities, counties and test sites are organizing offline examination training and assessment at the same level to ensure that the training content is not reduced, the time is not shortened, and the links are not missed. Those who fail the examination are not allowed to take up their posts.

According to the actual situation of epidemic prevention and control and college entrance examination, according to the requirements of "Class B and Class B management" of COVID-19 epidemic situation, and under the guidance of the health disease control department, the epidemic prevention work plan and emergency plan of group examination were revised and improved. All examination areas actively carry out health education, guide candidates to improve their health awareness, enhance their self-protection ability and ensure a healthy college entrance examination.

In addition, the education department, together with the relevant member units of the High Recruitment Committee, carried out in-depth special actions to escort the college entrance examination, strengthened departmental linkage, and made overall plans for security, traffic guidance, noise control, food safety, medical security, and disaster emergency during the examination. Severely crack down on all kinds of illegal and criminal activities involved in the examination according to law, create a good external environment for the smooth implementation of the examination, and earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of candidates.

After the college entrance examination, Hainan will enter the online marking stage of college entrance examination. By then, more than 700 teachers will participate in marking papers, and it is expected that the results of the college entrance examination will be announced to candidates around June 25. From mid-June, the Provincial Examinations Bureau will carefully organize and implement a series of consulting services by filling in volunteer lectures, professional interpretation videos and on-site enrollment consultation meetings in colleges and universities. City and county education bureaus and middle schools will set up teams to strengthen the guidance of candidates' voluntary reporting, provide policy interpretation, reference information and consultation guidance for candidates and parents, organize candidates to actively participate in the simulation exercise of voluntary reporting, and be familiar with the process and precautions of voluntary reporting. The municipal and county education bureaus will strengthen the management of voluntary reporting in conjunction with market supervision and other departments, and seriously investigate and deal with violations such as false propaganda and high-priced voluntary reporting guidance.

This year, the procedures and methods of volunteering to fill in and enroll in Hainan Province are basically the same as last year. The enrollment implementation measures have adjusted the enrollment arrangements of individual batches such as special plans, and optimized the registration conditions for ethnic minority classes and ethnic preparatory classes. Admission began on July 10 and is expected to end around August 15.
