How to renew L1 visa in the United States

People with H, L, O and P visas can apply for a new visa in the United States after their visa expires. Holders of these visas do not need to go to a U.S. consulate for an interview at a third party. To apply for a visa extension in the United States, you must meet the following conditions:

1. The applicant must have a valid passport, which must be valid for no less than six months;

2. The passport must have Visa stamp, the last visa must be valid for more than 60 days. Or within one year after expiration, that is to say, if your visa has not expired but it is less than 60 days, it will not work;

3. The visa applicant will be granted by the customs when he or she enters the country. Original I-94 white card. If the validity period of your I-94 white card has expired, the applicant must provide a valid Immigration Bureau status extension approval letter (I-797);

4. Valid Immigration Bureau of visa status Letter of approval;

5. Letter of introduction from the applicant’s employer, which should introduce the company’s background, nature of work, applicant’s qualifications, etc. This content must be written on the employer's letterhead and signed by the person in charge of the company;

6. Completed OF-156 form and a photo;

7. Application Fee;
