Dawang dialect mainly includes Guangzhou dialect, Hakka dialect, Chaozhou dialect, Sichuan dialect and Sijie dialect. The dialect distribution of each community is as follows: Luohu, Dongfeng and Yicun communities are Cantonese and Hakka, Xinglong communities are Jiu Si, Cantonese and Hakka, Jiangjungang communities are Cantonese, Hakka and Chaozhou, urban communities are Cantonese, Sichuan, Hakka and Chaozhou, Shali communities are Cantonese, Hakka and Chaozhou, and Zheng Long communities are Cantonese, Hakka and Chaozhou.

(A) Guangzhou dialect

Except Xiaowu, Qiaodui, Luotian, Niuxiang and Chencun, other villages in Dongfeng Community use Hakka dialect. Likeng, Wushe, Dabawei, Wharf Camp, Sangongtang and Litang in Luohu Community mainly use Hakka dialect. Most people who speak Hakka can also speak vernacular.

Teochew dialect

It belongs to Minnan language family, with many ancient sounds and words, and vivid and humorous language. It is distributed in communities such as Jiangjungang, downtown and Zheng Long, and is mainly used by immigrants in Chaoshan area.

The language family belongs to the northern dialect, which is mainly used by Wushan immigrants from the Three Gorges and concentrated in urban communities.
