At the meeting, the main objectives and tasks of traffic work this year were clarified:

Ensure the completion of traffic construction investment of 4.665438 billion yuan;

We will earnestly promote the three-year action of filling traffic shortcomings and the three-year action of highway bridge danger removal, complete the construction of 30 kilometers of first-class highway subgrade, 90 kilometers of pavement, 90 kilometers of second-class highway subgrade and 40 kilometers of pavement, and complete the reconstruction of no less than 50 dangerous bridges;

Repair 80 kilometers of national and provincial trunk roads, transform 88 kilometers of county and township roads, lay 37 kilometers of roads, and transform 400 kilometers of rural roads. Rural highway maintenance funds have been no less than 6,543.8 billion yuan.

This year, the preliminary work of seven projects will be completed, including Jingmen section of Wu Tianyi Expressway, Jingshan section of National Highway 240, Dongbao section of National Highway 347, Zhongxiang section of National Highway 234, Shayang section of 31KLOC-0/Provincial Highway, Shayang urban section of Provincial Highway 266, and Li Xiang Lihe Port Comprehensive Terminal, so as to complete the preliminary work of all short-board traffic projects. Promote the upgrading of national and provincial highways, build 207 national highway, Zhongxiang section of National Highway 347, Zhanghe new section of National Highway 348 and first-class highway from Shayang to Wuli section of Provincial Highway 342 as soon as possible, and speed up the transformation of the third ring road intersection, Jingshan section of National Highway 347, Zhongxiang Ring Road of National Highway 234, Zhongxiang Fengle Hanjiang Highway Bridge and Shayang Hanjiang Highway Bridge II. Accelerate the construction of a number of tourist highways, such as provincial highway 327, Dongbao section of provincial highway 438, Xiang Jing Ancient Road and Zhanghe Huanku Highway. Complete the supporting project of Jingmen South of Jingyi Expressway and the reconstruction and expansion project of Jingmen North of Xiang Jing Expressway.
