Why do white Americans discriminate against black people?

White Americans’ discrimination against black people stems from the gap between rich and poor. Generally speaking, it is because black people are not strong enough and is caused by historical issues.

White people rose rapidly during the Industrial Revolution. They immediately chose the path of overseas expansion and began to sail ships to colonize and plunder all over the world. In this process, the black group was the most extensively colonized and the most severely persecuted. Many of them were even reduced to slaves, with not only no status, but also no dignity at all.

Slavery has existed in the United States for a long time. If slavery existed as a legal system, it would have great influence. Its influence is unlikely to disappear with the elimination of the system.

Black Slavery

In 1619, before the founding of the United States of America, the first batch of black slaves was transported to Virginia, the first British colony in North America. In 1860, the number of black slaves in the United States reached more than 4 million, while the total population of the United States was only 27 million.

In 1861 AD, the two sides fought the only civil war in American history, which lasted four years. The North won and slavery was abolished. However, due to the abolition of black slavery in the United States, many states successively announced their withdrawal from the Union, and seven southern states also established the Confederate States of America.
