Basic introduction of Britain-Islamic State internship visa replacing the original PSW work visa

The good news: Britain has reopened its work visa to stay in Britain, that is, the "Islamic State" internship visa has replaced the original PSW work visa.

A few days ago, the British Parliament officially passed the revised draft of the British Immigration Act for 20 14 submitted by the Visa and Immigration Bureau (UKVI), which will be implemented on April 6, 20 14. In Tier 5 (Government Authorized Exchange Program (GAE), the fifth level of Britain's points-based visa system (PBS), the Islamic State has been added. British students can directly change from Tier 4 student visa to Tier 5 international student internship visa one year after graduation.

In order to meet the employment needs of international students, the British government officially launched the Postgraduate Work Visa (PSW) visa program on June 30, 2008, which aims to allow international students with bachelor's degree or above to work or conduct business activities in the UK for two years after graduation. After several years of implementation, the PSW visa was terminated on April 20 12 due to abuse. After graduation, international students can only pass the T2 work visa.

But three conditions need to be met at the same time:

1. The applicant must find a job in the UK and obtain an employment contract from the employer.

2. The employer must have a British visa and a guarantor's license issued by the Immigration Bureau to hire non-EU employees.

The annual salary shall not be less than 20,000 pounds.

It is quite difficult for international students to fully consider these three requirements in the latest policy bill. Through a series of market surveys, the British Visa Immigration Bureau added the International Student Internship Program ("Islamic State") to the Tier 5(GAE) government-authorized work visa category.
