The Present Situation of jiande city Industrial Technical School

Over the past 30 years, the school has always adhered to the school-running policy of "taking students as the main body, surviving by quality, taking employment as the guidance and taking service as the purpose", and made great efforts to upgrade professional skills, highlight the characteristics of mechanic education and strengthen quality education. In recent years, the school has been rated as a provincial key technical school, a demonstration base for employee education and training in Hangzhou, a demonstration base for quality training of 10,000 rural laborers in Hangzhou, and a "Top Ten" demonstration base for quality training of farmers in Hangzhou.

The school offers eight majors, including mechatronics, electrical and electronic technology, machining (clamping welding), CNC machine tool processing, electronic information application, chemical engineering and technology, e-commerce and animation production, among which the mechatronics major is Hangzhou demonstration major.

At the same time, the school vigorously carries out vocational training and vocational skill appraisal. The school is jiande city Farmers Training Center, jiande city Vocational Skills Appraisal Station, jiande city Safety Production Training Assessment Station, jiande city Re-employment Training Base, jiande city Vocational Skills Training Center for the Disabled, and jiande city Reservoir Migrant Labor Quality Training Base.

At present, the school is moving towards the goal of establishing a national key technical school. The new (expanded) library complex, training building, experimental building, multi-function hall, gymnasium, canteen, student dormitory and other auxiliary facilities will be built into a modern national key technical school with an area of nearly 120 mu and a capacity of more than 2,000 students.
