The secret of German study abroad and work policy.

There are many options for working in Germany, and the work intensity and salary level vary greatly according to the type of work. You don't have to choose manual labor to work, you can also choose to be a translator, a Chinese teacher, or work in a school. German law has different regulations on the working hours of international students according to the different countries where they live.

1. Work permit

China students who are officially registered in German universities do not need to apply for a work permit, because the work permit is attached to the student visa we applied for. But if you are studying in various language classes or preparatory classes in Germany, such students are usually not allowed to work. If you want to work, you need permission from the German Immigration Bureau and the Labor Bureau, and your working hours are limited to holidays.

2. Working hours

According to the regulations of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Immigration Bureau, the maximum working time for international students in China is 120 half a day (8 hours a day) or 240 half a day (4 hours a day). If you want to work outside this limited time limit, you need to apply for a work permit at the local safe first.
