The area where the epicenter of the earthquake is concentrated and distributed in a regular band is called the earthquake zone. Globally, the seismic activity zone and volcanic activity zone are basically the same, mainly concentrated in the following areas with strong crustal activity.

China's Taiwan Province Province, Ryukyu Islands, Japanese Islands and Aleutian Islands returned to Alaska and circled the Pacific Ocean, which also separated the mainland from the ocean. About 80% of the earthquakes on the earth occur here.

Eurasian seismic belt: also known as "seismic belt across southern Eurasia and northwestern Africa" and "Mediterranean-Himalayan seismic belt", mainly distributed in Eurasia, starting from Indonesia, passing through the western Indo-China Peninsula and Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Qinghai and Tibet in China, as well as India, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey to the northern shore of the Mediterranean Sea and all the way to the Azores Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.

Ridge seismic belt: It starts from the northern shore of Siberia near Lerner estuary, passes through the Arctic, Spitsbergen Islands and Iceland, and then passes through the ridge in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, reaching some narrow ridge belts or submarine uplift belts in the Indian Ocean, and a branch goes deep into the Red Sea and the famous Great Rift Valley in East Africa.
