The Language of Darhan Maoming League Banner

In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), this banner was reclaimed on a large scale, and Han people from Wuchuan, Guyang and Tumote successively flowed into this banner. Before and after liberation, farmers from Shanxi, northern Shaanxi and Qingshuihe County migrated freely here. At the end of 1950s, due to famine, immigrants from Henan, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Gansu and other provinces moved to settle down, which formed the diversity of Chinese dialects in this banner. However, the dialect of Yanbeidi (IX n) in Shanxi is the main dialect, mixed with some dialects in Hebei and northern Henan, commonly known as "Houshan dialect".

Mongolian language in pastoral areas where Mongolians live in concentrated communities belongs to Inner Mongolia dialect (central part), which is similar to Kaerka dialect.
