Application conditions

Visiting relatives who have settled, lived, studied or worked in Macao for a long time; The applicant's spouse and children under the age of 18 can apply together. "Relatives" refer to spouses, parents or parents of spouses, spouses, brothers and sisters, (foreign) grandparents and (foreign) grandchildren of children; "Accompanying application" refers to the application for visiting relatives with the same validity period and number of times as the main applicant.

Application material

Submit a copy of the proof that the relatives interviewed have settled in Macao, lived for a long time, obtained employment and attended school, and submit the original proof of kinship and a copy.

If relatives have settled in Macao, submit a copy of Macao resident identity card and Hong Kong and Macao residents' travel permit to and from the Mainland; If the relative is of foreign nationality, a copy of Macao permanent identity card and foreign passport shall be submitted;

If relatives live in Macao for a long time, submit a copy of Macao resident identity card or Macao special stay certificate and valid travel documents;

If a relative is employed in Macao, a copy of the certification document and a copy of the valid travel document approved by the competent authorities of Macao for employment in Macao shall be submitted;

If a relative is studying in Macao, a copy of the admission notice or proof of studying in Macao and a copy of a valid travel document shall be submitted.

Proof of kinship includes: marriage certificate, birth certificate, household registration book showing kinship, kinship certificate issued by the local police station where the household registration is located, and other legally effective certificates that can prove kinship.

If you apply to the same accepting department to visit the same relative in Macao again (except spouse and in-laws), you are exempt from the proof of kinship.

Treatment process

(1) The applicant submits the application materials to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ at or above the county level entrusted by the State Administration of Immigration, and collects fingerprint information according to regulations;

(2) If the accepting institution meets the application conditions, the application materials are complete and conform to the statutory form, it shall issue an application acceptance receipt to the applicant; If the application materials are incomplete or inconsistent with the statutory form, the applicant shall be informed of all the contents that need to be supplemented at one time; Do not belong to the scope of responsibilities of the department or do not meet the acceptance requirements, will not be accepted, and explain the reasons to the applicant.

(3) After examination and approval by the examination and approval authority, the examination and approval authority shall make a decision of approval or disapproval. If it does not approve, the examination and approval authority shall issue a "Decision of disapproval" to the applicant.

(4) The applicant has obtained the certificate.

Examination and approval result

Visiting brothers and sisters, (grandparents) and (grandchildren) can issue endorsements every three months and stay in Macao for no more than 14 days;

If you visit your spouse, parents or their parents, children or their spouses, you can issue multiple endorsements for three months and stay in Macao for no more than 90 days from the date of first entry. Applicants over the age of 60 (inclusive) may issue multiple endorsements 1 year, and each stay in Macao shall not exceed 90 days;

Those who apply to visit their spouses in Hong Kong and Macao and have minor children with their spouses in Hong Kong and Macao may issue multiple endorsements 1 year, and each stay in Macao shall not exceed 90 days.

If the family is in special difficulties, with the approval of the exit-entry administration department of the provincial public security organ, multiple endorsements can be issued 1 year, and each stay in Macao will not exceed 90 days.

The accompanying applicant can issue a visit endorsement with the same validity period and valid times as the main applicant.
