How to pay visa fees in the United States?

There are three kinds of visa payment methods in the United States: online payment, cash payment at the counter of China CITIC Bank and ATM payment. Applicants can use any one of them.

Online payment:

The most convenient way to pay visa fees in the United States is to pay online with a debit card issued by a local bank in China. The system does not accept credit cards. After logging in your personal data, you can pay by debit card.

You can only pay the visa fee online with a debit card issued by a local bank in China (we don't support credit cards or debit cards issued outside China). If you encounter problems in online payment with a debit card, you may need to contact your issuing bank to activate the online payment function of this card. If you don't have a local debit card in China, please choose another payment method.

Cash payment at the counter of CITIC Bank:

You can pay the non-immigrant visa (NIV) application fee in cash at any branch of China CITIC Bank. Before going to the bank, be sure to log on to the personal data page of the reservation website and print the corresponding US visa fee list. When paying the visa fee, please bring your passport and printed visa payment slip.

Please do not print multiple copies of the same US visa fee bill. The visa fee for each family member or group member will be regarded as an independent transaction. You must print a unique US visa bill for each transaction. When paying the visa fee, please bring your passport and printed visa payment slip. You will receive a receipt after the payment process is completed.

Citic bank ATM payment:

You can pay the application fee for non-immigrant visa (NIV) at any ATM with the logo of CITIC Bank in China. Before paying the fee, please log in to our online system to create your personal data and print the transaction number of the ATM.

When using the ATM, you need to enter the payment card information and the ATM transaction number, and select the "Fee Payment" option from the menu. When selecting this option, you should select "USVisaFee" as the payment option, and then choose the visa type according to the prompt. After the payment is completed, the system will print a receipt containing the "visa fee receipt". Please keep it properly so that you can arrange an appointment through the online system or the reservation center.
