Article 26 of the Measures of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for the Implementation of the "Land Management Law of the People's Republic of China" stipulates: The reclamation of state-owned wasteland shall go through relevant procedures in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, and shall be completed in the land use year. Within the control indicators determined in the plan, the approval shall be subject to the following provisions: (1) The one-time reclamation of wasteland of less than 30 hectares shall be approved by the county (city) people's government; (2) The one-time reclamation of wasteland of more than 30 hectares and less than 60 hectares shall be approved by the state (City) People's Government or Regional Administrative Office Approval; if it exceeds 60 hectares but less than 600 hectares, it shall be approved by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region; (3) If the county (city) under the jurisdiction of Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture reclaims more than 60 hectares but less than 130 hectares of wasteland at one time, it shall be approved by Approval from the People's Government of Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture; if it exceeds 130 hectares but less than 600 hectares, it shall be reported to the People's Government of the autonomous region for approval; (4) If the Corps system reclaims its wasteland of less than 300 hectares at one time, it shall be approved by the Corps; if it exceeds 300 hectares but less than 600 hectares, it shall be reported to the people's government of the autonomous region Government approval; (5) If more than 600 hectares of wasteland are reclaimed at one time, it shall be reviewed by the People's Government of the autonomous region and then reported to the State Council for approval.
