Introduction of Zipeng Mountain

Zipeng Mountain, also known as Liling Mountain, is located in the south of Nongxing Town, Feixi County, about 20 kilometers away from the urban area and connected by Forest Avenue. Since the Qing Dynasty, it has been known as "the first famous mountain in Luyang" and was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of Forestry in July 1992. 1998 was named as a provincial-level scenic spot by Anhui provincial government in September. In 200 1 year, it was approved as an AA-level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration. There are 3500 hectares of forest, 470 species of plants and 20 species of birds/kloc-0, including 30000 herons.

The name of "Zipeng Mountain" in folklore is named after the monk's purple robe and the initials of Penglai Fairy Island, which means "welcome the purple spirit and go to Penglai". There is a couplet on the gate of Zipeng Mountain. The first link is: purple gas comes from the east to the jungle, and it is rich and brilliant through the ages; The bottom line is: Peng Shanxi went to the public to raise the ten statues. The first letter of the upper and lower couplets is just embedded with the word "Zi Peng". The word "Zi Peng" endows the mountain name with a strong Buddhist color.

The Zipeng Mountain Group is endless, surrounded by mountains and waters, with dense forests and rich natural and cultural landscapes, especially the four characteristics of strange rocks, strange trees, clear water and rare birds, which constitute a unique three-dimensional landscape picture of southern Shandong.

There are many famous places of interest on the mountain, such as Xilu Temple, 500 Luohan Sculpture, Zhou Yu Reading Room, Xiyan Lake, Wenchang Pavilion, Li Dian Tomb, and the former residence of Liu Mingchuan, the first governor of Taiwan Province Province.

Zipeng Mountain is adjacent to Hefei in the north, with convenient transportation. Driving out of the city is just over 20 kilometers, and you can go straight to the top of the mountain. After another 8 kilometers, you can drive into the hinterland of Tong Yuan.

The well-known Anhui Wenda Information Vocational and Technical College is located at the foot of Zipeng Mountain.
