What does the Australian 485 visa mean?

Visa 485 is a temporary residence visa for graduates with a term of 18 months. Students applying for this visa need to study the major listed in the Australian Skilled Migrant Occupation List (SOL), and the occupation must be a 60-point or 50-point nominated occupation.

Students with 485 visas can stay in the local area for one and a half years after graduation. Students can find a job, study, travel, or complete a professional year. This course is a one-year professional training course for skilled immigrants.

Students can apply for an Australian permanent resident visa at any time as long as the immigration conditions meet the criteria for immigration to Australia.

After the implementation of 20 16 new rules, overseas graduates with bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees from Australian universities can stay in Australia for up to 4 years (PSW). Note: 485 visa applicants can only apply for a 485 visa once, whether it is TR or PSW.

Australia 485 visa application conditions:
