Article 1 In order to strengthen the work of resettlement archives, standardize the management of resettlement archives, and give full play to the role of resettlement archives, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Archives Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Regulations on Land Requisition Compensation and Resettlement for Large and Medium-sized Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects and the actual situation of water conservancy and hydropower projects. Article 2 These Measures shall apply to the management of resettlement files of large and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower projects (hereinafter referred to as "resettlement files"), and other water conservancy and hydropower projects may refer to the implementation. Article 3 The term "migration files" as mentioned in these Measures refers to the historical records in different forms and carriers, such as words, charts, audio-visual images, etc., which are important documents reflecting the migration process. Article 4 The resettlement archives work is an important part of the resettlement work of water conservancy and hydropower projects, and it is a basic work to preserve records and vouchers, standardize management, support supervision, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of all parties, and ensure the smooth resettlement work and long-term social stability. Article 5 Archives administrative departments at all levels, project authorities, resettlement management institutions of water conservancy and hydropower projects (hereinafter referred to as resettlement management institutions), legal persons of water conservancy and hydropower projects (hereinafter referred to as project legal persons) and relevant units involved in resettlement work shall strengthen their leadership over resettlement archives and take effective measures to ensure the integrity, accuracy, system, safety and effective utilization of resettlement archives. Article 6 Immigration management institutions at all levels, project legal persons and relevant units shall establish and improve the immigration archives work, define the departments responsible for the immigration archives work and the personnel engaged in the immigration archives management, and ensure the funds, warehouses and other facilities and equipment needed for the immigration archives work.
