What are the requirements for Canadian maple leaf card application?

COPR is called permanent residence confirmation, and we used to call it immigration paper, which is the certification material issued to the applicant by the Canadian Immigration Bureau after the applicant's PR approval. This means that the applicant has met the requirements of becoming a permanent resident in Canada, paid the relevant fees, passed the physical examination and obtained the certificate of innocence.

Applicants must bring correct immigration documents when entering Canada, which can be used to update the Canadian Maple Leaf Card. Without COPR, applicants will not be able to come to Canada as permanent residents.

COPR is valid for one year, and the Immigration Bureau does not accept expired COPR. Applicants need to ensure that they land in Canada within the validity period. After this policy update, permanent residents who have not obtained the new COPR should not try to travel to Canada.
