History of Longchuan village

Longchuan village belongs to immigrant village. 1958, in response to the call of the state to build Danxi Reservoir, the whole village was moved from Longshunkeng to filial piety bridge. Historically, the appearance of this village is very poor, and the economic income of the villagers is very low. Since the reform and opening up, many villagers in this village have gone out to do business in other places and actively supported the construction of their hometowns after they became rich. Successive village committees in this village have seized the preferential policies of the state and actively developed various undertakings in the village. Especially in recent years, under the correct leadership of the Party committee and government at higher levels and the help and guidance of the relevant departments at higher levels, the village has eliminated "roadside pits and open pits", built five ecological public toilets, completed the improvement of water and electricity in the village, set up 40 garbage bins and 1 garbage transfer station, afforested the riverbank of the filial piety bridge, built a new village office building and built a 500-square-meter leisure and fitness green space for the villagers. This year, sewage treatment projects were carried out, including the expansion of two village roads, Longchuan Road and Yong 'an Road, and the demolition of houses 13. In 2007, the per capita income of the village reached 6500 yuan. Thanks to the joint efforts of the broad masses of cadres and the masses in the village, the village has initially formed a good situation of vigorous economic development, stable social order, beautiful environmental improvement, standardized and orderly life, good morality and fashion, and colorful cultural and sports activities. From 2003 to 2007, the village won the third prize and the second prize of "Civilized Hundred Villages Action" in Yueqing City. From 2004 to 2007, the village was rated as a five-star, three-star and four-star village in Yueqing. In 2005, the village was rated as a popular science demonstration village in Yueqing City, and in 2006, it was rated as a four-star democracy and rule of law village in Wenzhou City and a qualified village in the renovation of thousands of villages in Wenzhou City. In 2007, it was rated as a star-rated village for environmental improvement in the old village of Yueqing City, and the party branch was awarded the title of pioneer party branch in Yueqing City.
