1. It has comprehensive utilization benefits such as power generation, flood control, anti-icing and irrigation. The original designed normal water level is 360m, and the installed capacity of the power station is 1 160Mw. The average annual power generation for many years is 6 billion kw·h, and the dam is a concrete gravity dam. The maximum dam height is106m. The project started construction on 1957, with a normal water level of 350 meters. The corresponding initial total storage capacity is 35.4 billion cubic meters. 1960 reservoir impoundment, 1962 commissioning and power generation of the first unit. After the reservoir is impounded, the riverbed at the tail of the reservoir rises due to sediment deposition. The power station stopped running immediately. In order to slow down siltation, maintain the regulated storage capacity, and give full play to the reservoir's flood control, ice prevention and irrigation efficiency, two reconstructions were carried out from 1964 to 198 1.
