"The Gatekeepers" is a fashion discipline drama produced by Hong Kong TVB, supervised by Guan Shuming, starring Yuan Weihao, Huang Zhiwen, Wang Minyi, Chen Jiale, Liu Peiyue, and co-starring Zheng Shijun. It will be broadcast on Hong Kong Jade Channel on September 13, 2021, and will be broadcast exclusively on the Mi Dui Dui APP. The play takes the Hong Kong Customs as its theme and tells the story of the efforts and persistence of the Hong Kong Customs in safeguarding Hong Kong people.

"The Gatekeepers" focuses the narrative on customs, and it is relatively new to make customs workers the protagonists. Of course, the narrative approach of the entire TV series is still that of a typical Hong Kong police and gangster drama. Especially the plot in the first episode, which involves customs checking drug transactions, is really familiar to everyone.

The audience does not seem to have much of a problem treating the protagonists as police station staff in previous police dramas. But this feeling of "indifferent" is a double-edged sword.
