A 60-year-old caring mother in Hong Kong has a non-permanent Hong Kong identity card. Can she apply for her children to settle in Hong Kong?
1. The mother must be a non-permanent resident of Hong Kong and have no other children to take care of her.
2. The applicant has no immediate family members in the Mainland and does not depend on his parents in Hong Kong for support.
The following materials shall be submitted when applying:
1. I submit my ID card, household registration book and a copy.
2. Original invitation letter (including envelope) submitted by relatives from Hong Kong and Macao.
3. Submit notarized materials (certificate of Hong Kong law firm recognized by the Ministry of Justice) and notarized kinship.
4. Submit the identity card of the asylum seeker and a copy of the passports of Hong Kong and Macao residents travelling to and from the Mainland.
