Chongqing Three Gorges College was founded in 1956, and now it is located in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, an ancient city with thousands of years and the capital of immigrants. The school originated from the training class for junior high school teachers in Wanxian, Sichuan, and is the only multi-disciplinary undergraduate college in the hinterland of the Three Gorges reservoir area. At present, it has formed a discipline structure with arts and sciences as the mainstay, industry as the mainstay, coordinated development of other disciplines and majors, undergraduate education as the mainstay, and coordinated development of postgraduate education and adult education.
