Shiqiaoying ancient residential building is a cultural relic protection unit in Xinhua District.

Shiqiaoying ancient residential building is located in Shiqiaoying Old Village, Xiangshan Management Committee, Xinhua District, Pingdingshan City. Historically, it is the seat of Xiangshan Street, and the folk culture has been passed down continuously. Inherit Guanyin culture in Xiangshan Street (myths and legends such as one-step two-eye well and three-step two-hole bridge), farming culture and ancient village culture. In the twenty-fourth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang issued a letter to set up 34 battalions of Juntun Camp in Baofeng County, and Shiqiao Camp was one of them. During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, on the basis of the Ming Dynasty, a Qingshi Dazhai with a circumference of 1.600 meters was expanded (one third of this village is now stored). A main street in the village is about 500 meters long from east to west, and there are several small streets in the north and south. Most of the houses in the village are bluestone walls, brick and wood sloping tile houses or buildings. The existing old buildings of Ming, Qing and Republic of China are distributed in villages. Five ridges and six beasts, the top of the mountain is hard, the blue brick ridge is high in relief, and the roof slope is covered with small gray tiles, which belongs to the typical central plains residential style. These buildings are large in scale, rigorous in layout and complete in types. From the Ming Dynasty to the present, there is no missing link in the time chain, and there are standard buildings with absolute dates in each period. Especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties, buildings were concentrated in one village, which is rare in the whole province. It provides material data for studying the transition from Ming dynasty architecture to Qing dynasty architecture, and has high architectural historical value.
