3. Choose an agency to handle visas, prepare visa materials, and pay visa fees and visa service fees.

4. Waiting for visa application review or supplementary information.

5. Get a visa. After getting the visa, you should carefully check whether all the information on the visa is correct, especially whether the start and end time and the number of days of stay of the visa are consistent with the application, and whether the personal information such as the name on the visa is spelled correctly. If you find any mistakes, you should contact the embassy or consulate in time.

Please note that the procedures and materials submitted are different according to the type of your passport, the purpose of your visit to Japan and the time of your stay. Also, the validity period of a single visa is 3 months from the day after the issuance date and cannot be extended, so please pay attention to your application period.
