Shangnan County is located in the southeast of Shaanxi Province, at the southern foot of the East Qinling Mountains, at the junction of Shaanxi, Henan and Hubei provinces, with Henan and Chu in the south and Qin Jin in the north. It is a must for Qin Chu. Shangnan was sandwiched between Qin and Chu, and swayed from side to side. It can be said that it is the meeting place of Qin Chu culture. During the Hongwu period, the Ming Dynasty immigrated to southern Shaanxi and western Henan.
