Historical evolution of Anling Township

Anling Township was returned to Suining Township in the Ming Dynasty. It was a capital in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Today, many surrounding villages and towns still call Anling a capital. In the Republic of China, the capital was changed to a township and was called Anren Township. Today, the old Anling people They all claim to be from Anren Village and were under the jurisdiction of Jinyun County at the beginning of liberation. In 1956, the three townships of Shangzhai, Houtang and Shishe were merged. Because it was necessary to climb mountains to get from Shangzhai to Shishe, it was renamed Anling Township.
