Main functions of Xuzhou Water Affairs Bureau

According to the above responsibilities, the main responsibilities of the Municipal Water Resources Bureau (Municipal Water Affairs Bureau) are:

(four) to organize and guide the city's water administrative supervision and water administrative law enforcement; Investigate and handle illegal wading incidents, and coordinate water and border disputes; Responsible for the supervision and management of river sand mining according to the authority.

(five) to guide the financial audit of the city's water conservancy industry; Responsible for the planning, use, financial management and internal audit supervision of water conservancy funds; Work out the prices of water supply and sewage treatment jointly with relevant departments; Cooperate with relevant departments to put forward suggestions on the price, fees, taxes, credit and finance of water conservancy management; To guide the supervision and management of state-owned assets in the water conservancy industry in the city.

(six) to organize the implementation of the city's water conservancy projects (including urban water supply and drainage pipe network and sewage interception pipe network and related manhole covers) construction, quality supervision and operation management; Responsible for the construction and operation management of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project; Responsible for the supervision and management of water conservancy construction market; Prepare and review the proposal, feasibility study report and preliminary design documents of water conservancy capital construction projects.

(seven) to guide the city's rural water conservancy work; Organize and coordinate the basic construction of farmland water conservancy, guide the planning, engineering construction and management of water-saving irrigation, water supply and drainage in villages and towns, river dredging and regulation, rural drinking water safety, guide the construction of socialized service system of rural water conservancy, draw up water and soil conservation plans and supervise their implementation, and guide the comprehensive prevention and control of soil erosion in the city.

(eight) to organize and guide the city's water conservancy science and technology and information work; To guide the emergency management of water conservancy emergencies; Responsible for the safety production of water conservancy industry according to law.

(nine) to undertake the daily work of the Municipal Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters. Organize, coordinate, supervise and guide the city's flood control and drought relief work; Responsible for urban flood control and drainage.

(10) to guide the management and protection of all kinds of water conservancy facilities, waters and coastlines in the city, to guide the management and development of river basins and regional backbone rivers, lakes and reservoirs, to be responsible for the operation and management of municipal water conservancy projects, and to undertake the resettlement work of water conservancy projects.

(eleven) to undertake other tasks assigned by the municipal government.
