The north gate tower (bihui gate) of Fenghuang Ancient City was first built in the Ming Dynasty. It is exquisite and spectacular. The city wall between the East Gate Tower and the North Gate Tower is connected, facing the clear Tuojiang River. It has both military defense and flood control functions.
