If you plan to live with your husband/wife/cohabiting partner/children/parents studying in Sweden for some time, you should apply for a residence permit.

You can apply for a residence permit at the Swedish Embassy in Beijing. After you submit the materials, the embassy may arrange a telephone conversation. After the embassy has obtained all the necessary materials, your application will be submitted to the Swedish Immigration Bureau.

The embassy will inform you of the result of the application. If you are approved, the embassy will put a residence permit on your passport. You are not allowed to enter Sweden, pending the decision of the Immigration Bureau.

The materials you need to prepare are as follows:

If your husband/wife/cohabiting partner is in Sweden:

Two sets of completed and signed application forms.

All applicants, including minors, are required to provide three 35x45mm photos in the same style as passport photos.

Photos shall meet the following requirements:

-Color photos

-A recent photo showing my true face.

-Show the whole face (eyes are facing the camera when shooting)

-bareheaded

-For religious reasons, you can wear a hat or headdress, but the hat or headdress cannot cover the applicant's face.

—The background should be smooth, and the light and light color should be uniform.

A valid passport. Two passport identity pages. If you don't have a passport, you can apply first and then send it.

Marriage certificate (in Chinese and English) and its copy; If you get married in Sweden, please provide two Swedish marriage certificates. If you have ever been married, please provide a divorce certificate (in Chinese and English) and its copy. If you are unmarried, please provide a single notarial certificate (in Chinese and English) and a copy.

Two copies of the identity page of your husband/wife/cohabiting partner passport.

Financial guarantee. You should provide a guarantee of at least 3500 kronor per month.

Letter of confirmation from current employer. The letter should indicate that you have been approved for leave, and have the signature and telephone number of the person in charge.

The application acceptance fee is RMB 1050. If your visa is rejected, the application fee will not be refunded.

For children under 18 (one or both parents are in Sweden and the child lives in Sweden with his/her father/mother).

Two sets of completed and signed application forms. The application form must be signed by the child's legal guardian.

If only one parent has the right to contact the child, a notarized certificate of custody of the child should be provided.

If one of the child's parents stays in China, he/she should provide a letter (in English) to prove that he/she knows that the child has applied to join his/her relatives in Sweden and agrees.

Invitation letter from parents living in Sweden

Economic guarantee (living expenses in Sweden are at least 1800 kronor per month)

Confirmation letter from the school. The letter should mention that the school has approved the holiday, with the signature and contact number of the person in charge.

/kloc-The acceptance fee for children under 0/8 is 525 yuan. If the application is rejected, the application fee will not be refunded.
