What information do you need to study in the United States?

This is a very important material in the application materials for graduate students in the United States, which represents the course summary of a student during his undergraduate period. When applying for the senior year, you need to produce the transcripts of the previous three years; If you apply after graduation, you need to provide four years' results. Of course, when preparing transcripts, it is best to calculate GPA according to your own grades, so as to have a reference when applying for schools.

GPA is an important reference to determine whether you can apply successfully. Many schools have specific GPA requirements. The GPA in the United States is 4, and famous schools generally stipulate that the GPA should be above 3.0. Therefore, children's shoes with plans to study abroad should never be messed around during college. College grades are still very important for studying abroad.

If GPA is not too high, don't be discouraged. You can highlight your advantages in several other reference materials. For example, GRE and TOEFL score as high as possible, and the software background is better, which can make up for the disadvantage of GPA.

2. Learning certificates/diplomas and degree certificates

The certificate of study is an official letter issued by the school for students who have not yet obtained a degree certificate, which is used to prove that the student is a student of a certain major in the school; Diploma refers to the certificate issued by the people of China and the Ministry of Education to students through the school to confirm their degree, which reflects the degree certificate is equivalent to the holder's comprehensive quality and professional knowledge. Generally, in the school enrollment brochure, the applicant will be explicitly required to provide the original study certificate/degree certificate in Chinese and English, which is regarded as a formal and legally binding document. Explain that the applicant is a student or has successfully completed the established studies, and only with this certificate can he be eligible to apply. The study/degree certificate must have the official seal of the Academic Affairs Office, the envelope must have the seal of the Academic Affairs Office, and it must be stamped, and it must be original in Chinese and English.

Note: At present, many American schools only accept WES/ECE certification results when applying. Only after receiving the WES/ECE certification results will the admission committee begin to review the application materials of American graduate students. 3. Language achievement

Language achievement is also one of the most important materials in the application process, especially for students who are eager to go abroad for further study. A certain language foundation is an essential prerequisite. In the process of applying for graduate students in the United States, almost all students need GRE (some majors also need GRE scores) and TOEFL scores, and the school also clearly stated that it only accepts ETS official scores. Therefore, applicants must "send points" when applying. GRE scores are issued by ETS, while TOEFL scores are issued by NEEA, ETS's agency in China. In the process of application, we must plan the examination time in advance and send out the scores as soon as possible, because the inefficiency of ETS makes many applicants speechless.

Moreover, some schools also require GMAT and other professional test scores, which is often a stumbling block to prevent applicants from reaching famous American schools (note that this only refers to famous schools). Simply put, a high score can't completely prove that the applicant is excellent, but a low score can prove that the applicant is not excellent enough. This is because the applicants who apply for MBA in the seven major business schools in the United States are basically above GMAT 750, while the applicants who apply for JD in American 14 Law School are basically above LSAT 165. If there is little difference in other aspects, this score is low, which will often be the reason for rejection.

4. Resume

This refers to a resume/resume, which is different from a job resume. The American Graduate School Admission Committee will get to know and impress the applicants through their personal information, educational background, honors, important experiences, patents, participating organizations and other abilities and hobbies. 5. Letter of recommendation

6. Personal statement

Statement of purpose or personal statement (SP) is one of the important materials that affect the admission of American graduate students. Students can fully reflect their abilities to the schools they apply for through personal statements. The content should include: why did you choose this major, what achievements you have made in this field in the past, what ideas you have now, what plans you have for the future if you get a degree in this major, and so on. Although resumes and personal statements are descriptions of personal situations, they are all from different angles, one is the induction of objective facts, and the other is the expression with subjective intentions.

7. Proof of deposit

There are two stages in using the deposit certificate, one is the application stage and the other is the visa stage. In the process of applying for a school, the deposit certificate should be enough to study in the United States for one year. 8. Credit card

Some majors need Essay instead of SP, so write according to Essay's requirements.
