Why do most white Americans prefer to marry blacks and exclude yellow people?

Nowadays, transnational marriage is very common in people's daily life, but it is more common in the United States. Although some Americans still have prejudice against blacks, with the integration and exchange of cultures, more and more whites abandon prejudice and choose to form families with blacks.

The United States is one of the most developed capitalist countries in the world, with abundant land resources and a large population. As we all know, the population growth rate in developed countries is negative, but the United States is an exception, and its population growth rate is positive. Although its population growth rate is slightly lower than the world average, compared with other developed countries, the performance of the United States in population growth is remarkable.

There are actually two reasons why the United States can maintain rapid population growth. On the one hand, the United States has a large territory, and most of the land resources and climate are very suitable for human habitation, which can carry more people to survive. Unlike Canada, Australia and other countries, although they claim to have a large territory, there is actually not much land for human habitation.

On the other hand, the population source of the United States is very special. The indigenous people in the original place only account for a tiny part of the total population, and the others are immigrants and their descendants from all over the world. Of all the population in the United States, European Americans account for the majority, Latinos and African Americans account for the majority, and Asians account for only about 5%.

In addition to these people, there are some mixed-race people, who account for about half of the total population of the United States, and most of them are mixed-race.

Among the total population of all races in the United States, due to cultural and educational reasons, the number of blacks has grown extremely rapidly and the fertility rate is very high. Not only that, the proportion of black and white marriages is also high. According to relevant statistics, racial marriage has become a common phenomenon in American society, and families composed of different races have accounted for about one-third of the total number of American families.

Moreover, most of these mixed-race families are "mixed-race", which explains why there are more mixed-race Americans. In contrast, the proportion of white people and yellow people getting married is very low. What's the matter? The author briefly introduces the following three reasons.

First of all, we know that most black people came to this land of the United States as slaves, so these black people have no own culture and beliefs and can only imitate and learn from white people. After living with whites for a long time, these blacks have been assimilated by white culture. Therefore, the cultural differences between African-Americans and whites are relatively small, and they are relatively close in living habits and cultural customs. In addition, in the process of communication, the two have the same educational and cultural background, which is very conducive to promoting exchanges between the two sides.

On the other hand, the political status of yellow people in the United States is not as good as that of black people. Because the yellow race is engaged in business in the United States and rarely participates in political activities, the proportion of the yellow race in the government is very small. In addition, the yellow race is not very United, so it is often discriminated against in American society. Compared with the unequal treatment of blacks, the yellow race is actually discriminated against more seriously, so whites rarely marry the yellow race.

The last aspect is due to cultural differences. Generally speaking, the yellow race is conservative in thought and reserved in emotional expression, and rarely accepts the novelty of racial marriage. But blacks don't have that many restrictions in this respect. They dare to express their feelings boldly, and most of them are cheerful and funny, so it is easier to win the favor of whites, so American whites prefer to form families with blacks.

Of course, when starting a family, both sides should take into account their differences in economy, personality and culture, so tolerance is the best way to deal with marriage. In fact, no matter which ethnic group you marry, you should be clearly aware of this.
