Can military spouses go abroad?

As long as you have a passport (valid) and a visa (valid) from your country, you can go.

Soldiers cannot go abroad at will, usually because they don't have passports.

I have three female colleagues whose spouses are in the military system. Passports are usually kept by the unit, so you can't go abroad without permission. However, colleagues often travel abroad, which has no influence at all, except that they can't go with their spouses.
