Deferred immigration

After the immigrant visa comes down, you must land within 6 months.

You can't extend it unless you take the time to reapply.

At present, the requirement for retaining immigration status is to live in Canada for two years within five years.

Or live for two years within five years, with some exemption conditions:

1. Accompany Canadian spouse to go abroad

2. Serving Canadian overseas institutions

3. Accompany the spouse with PR card to work in a Canadian institution abroad.

Although the maple leaf card has expired, the time for waiting for a special re-entry visa abroad can also be calculated.

A more practical suggestion is that,

First, you have to land in half a year, which means you have to go for about two weeks to go through the necessary landing procedures.

Then you can go back to China and consider the above exemption.

Or after returning home, after three years abroad, go back to Canada to live for two years.
