What do foreigners mean by happy?

When foreigners say happy, they mean what we understand can make people happy.

As we all know, in some aspects, developed countries have higher economic level and more fun in life. For example, many talent shows and variety shows are all from their countries. I like traveling, sunbathing at the seaside, having parties at home, going to bars, discos, fishing and taking photos. That's basically it.

The food people eat is hygienic, but the overall nutrition is unbalanced, and they eat too much meat, which is not more reasonable than the eastern diet, so their chances of physical problems are high. Moreover, people adapt to the environment. Their environment is too good. Once they are in a bad environment, they will be very uncomfortable and easily get sick. For example, when westerners come to China, they usually have diarrhea because of acclimatization, and life will be much better after a while. But people in China are basically alive and kicking when they go to the West. For example, many years ago, the death rate of swine flu in China was low, because people basically got the flu every year, and their immune systems were used to it. Westerners have good hygiene and seldom get sick. Therefore, once they get sick, the immune system can't respond.

There is also the problem of life. Westerners seem to have little pressure on life and usually like to have fun, but in fact their living space is very depressed. There are basically not as many recreational activities in the west as in China, so you can only go to bars or something if you have nothing to do. Although people in China are under great pressure, they will also release pressure. When you are free, everyone eats food stalls, plays cards and sings KTV. In the west, you will never find such things as KTV and food stalls. Therefore, in fact, the life of westerners is also very depressed. Many immigrants from China to the West are not used to it, because it is really boring.
