Brief introduction of Baise

2. Baise (Zhuang language: Bwzswz) is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, located in the west of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, upstream of Youjiang River, east longitude 104 28- 107 54, north latitude 22 5 1-25 07, and adjacent to Yunnan Province in the west. The total area is 36,300 square kilometers. The terrain is high in the north and south and low in the middle, and it slopes from northwest to southeast, belonging to subtropical monsoon climate.

3. Baise City is a big passage to the sea in the southwest, and has been identified as a national highway transportation hub by the Ministry of Transport. It has basically formed a three-dimensional traffic pattern of "five in one" of expressways, railways, aviation, shipping and ports, and has become the frontier of two-way opening between China and ASEAN.

4. Baise City is a national ecological aluminum industry demonstration base, an excellent tourist city in China, a national model city with double support, a national garden city, a national health city and a national forest city. It is also a special area integrating old revolutionary base areas, ethnic minority areas, border areas, rocky mountainous areas, poverty-stricken areas and reservoir resettlement areas.
