The water is like a green belt and the mountains are like jade hairpins ----A brief note on the southwest frontier

In the eyes of a Chinese, Chinese is undoubtedly the most beautiful and heritage language. One thousand and two hundred years ago, Han Tuizhi wrote a poem: "The water is like a green belt, and the mountains are like jade hairpins." To this day, when I see the landscape of Guilin, I still think of this poem. This sentence is really suitable to describe the scenery of Guangxi.

Guilin’s landscapes are the best in the world, so everyone in the world knows about it, which makes Guilin’s landscapes beautiful in form and spirit, but less peaceful and remote, and the water is not so clean. But this time, I had the opportunity to visit Daxin and Jingxi, and I felt that this is what I imagined Guilin should be like.

The first stop was Mingshi Pastoral in Daxin. Daxin is a county adjacent to Chongzuo City in Nanning and borders Vietnam. It completely fits the term "small border town". How magical is the Chinese language? Among these four words, none of them have anything to do with artistic conception or beauty. However, when put together, pastoral, cooking smoke, pastoral songs, and bluestone roads will come to mind. The Hena Expressway from Nanning to here is also known as the most beautiful expressway, accompanied by mountains, rivers, blue sky and mist all the way.

It was already dark when we arrived at the hotel. Except for some lights in the hotel, everything was dark. Only the starlight and the sound of insects reminded us that we had arrived in the countryside.

When I woke up early the next morning and walked to the balcony, I couldn't help but stretch out, squint my eyes, take a deep breath, and say "Wow". The green hills serve as a barrier, and lush vegetation snakes all over the roof. The air is cool and sweet. Although the runners below don’t recognize me, they greet me happily.

Everyone takes out their mobile phones to take pictures of this kind of scenery. The photo below was taken under the bridge of a small bridge in the hotel. Everyone who comes here will take a photo. The so-called bridge hole is just a hole as big as the mouth of a bowl, but when you look through the hole, you see a natural picture. When photographed, it looks more like a freehand landscape that can be hung directly on the wall. If you happen to see the curling The smoke from cooking stoves inevitably evokes the idea of ??returning to farming. At this time, I will feel that this name is well chosen. Mingshi Tianyuan, the word Tianyuan is really suitable.

Bamboo rafting is a must-have program for landscapes like this small Guilin, just like in Guilin, Liuzhou, Hechi... and other places with karst landforms, but not It feels cliché, because this is a place that makes people forget about vulgarity. The mountains on both sides gently embrace a bay of clear water. The fat and festive uncle who is punting the boat said that he can be called Brother Aniu, and the shy little tour guide said that he can be called Amei, because that is what the Zhuang people call him. —All tourist spots in Guangxi say this, but you won’t feel cliche at all. You just feel that this girl and brother are worthy of such landscapes.

As the boat sailed in the middle, melodious singing floated from the shore. Looking at her figure, I guessed that she must be the daughter-in-law of Mingshi Village who is good at singing. After singing for a while, she could return home. Going to take care of the children, feed the chickens and cook rice, this makes me smile when I think about it; at another point, the tour guide A-mei said, in front of me is Mr. Mo - this is the name of the big bad guy in Liu Sanjie's movie - but this Mr. Mo is We played folk songs with Brother A Niu on our boat. After the duet, he went on to perform kung fu on the bamboo raft. We were quite frightened because he almost fell into the water. When passing by his bamboo raft, he grinned and showed his big teeth - this man must be an active member in the village, the kind who would take part in every event.

The rafting trip was not long, and Mr. Mo docked not long after his performance. So I found a bicycle to ride again. The feeling of riding in the mountains is completely different from the feeling of the mountains while rafting. When rafting, I feel that the mountain is a gentle woman, but when I actually ride into the mountains, I feel like a stalwart man with a boyfriend to the max. After riding for a while in the mountains, we climbed to a hill called Longtoushan to overlook the panoramic view of the entire Mingshi Pastoral. It was sunset and I took the following two photos. It is said that the one with the sunset was the scene on a postage stamp.

The next day we set out, first going to the Tongling Grand Canyon, located in Jingxi County, Baise City. I have heard about this place in Jingxi for a long time, and everyone who has been there has praised its landscape. This time I finally made the trip, and it is indeed well-deserved.

First put a photo. This is not a scenic spot, just a glimpse on the roadside. We were all sleeping in the car, and the only girl who was traveling with us who wasn't sleeping took this refreshing photo.

When we first entered the scenic area, there were towering trees, many strange plants growing, and even living fossils of plants such as cypress trees. Then we walked to a semi-open cave, similar to a tiankeng, but smaller than a tiankeng. Most of the caves in the past were dark caves, but here, sunlight shines through some small holes from above, and there are some small but tenacious plants growing in the cave. The green plants that grow stubbornly in the only sunlight, Full of life.

Going down from the height of the cave, there is a waterfall falling when you first enter the cave. When you look out, you can't see the bottom. You can only see a stream of water that looks like white water and craggy rocks. When we walked down the artificially dug stone steps to the bottom of the valley, we saw the end of the waterfall. It turned out to be an underground river, rushing out from the ground, carrying the water from the other side of the waterfall, heading straight for it. The sunshine outside disappeared, and I could only walk a few steps in the direction of the running river. In an instant, it was full of greenery, with birds flying and butterflies dancing.

All of a sudden, I remembered the story of Peach Blossom Spring, "It was extremely narrow at first, and then it became accessible to people. After walking dozens of steps, it suddenly became clear... There are fertile fields, beautiful ponds, mulberry trees, and bamboos."

When you reach the bottom of the valley, you can walk along the river. Until a mountain blocked the way, the river rumbled and flowed into the mountain. There is a waterfall hanging in front of the mountain, covering the running water behind it. This place is named "Water Curtain Cave", so everyone can't help but want to be the Monkey King and walk through the water curtain to see if there is a blessed land of Huaguo Mountain in the cave.

Actually, you just pass by the water curtain and don’t need to cross it. However, the water and mist falling from the mountain dozens of meters high are enough to cover the area four to five meters around the pool. There was nowhere to go. Some people came prepared and brought umbrellas; others had waterproof coats and were not afraid of wearing hats; the most embarrassing one was me who had nothing and was inevitably drenched in water. However, it is really a beautiful thing to see this majestic waterfall up close. What's more, after passing through the water curtain, the cave looks like this:

The rushing water passing through an artificial dam was already very powerful, but the sound was repeatedly amplified in the cave, becoming more and more deafening. Standing here and looking out, it feels a bit like humans were about to walk out of the cave thousands of years ago.

It was so pleasant to come back to the sun wet and dry under the noon sun.

Leave the canyon, go to Detian Waterfall, and return to Daxin County in Chongzuo. Detian Waterfall is the largest transnational waterfall in Asia and the fourth largest in the world. The tour guide also said that it has been selected as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in China and ranks quite high. However, what I loved most during this trip to Detian Waterfall was not the waterfall - of course it is also very beautiful - but the Zhongyue boundary river where the waterfall is located, the Guichun River.

The name is already beautiful enough, Return to Spring, and the water is even more green and clear. To be honest, the Lijiang River, Liujiang River, Yongjiang River...the water in many rivers in Guangxi is green, but I always feel that the green color is a bit dirty, and I even thought that the green color is because the river water is not clean enough. It wasn't until I saw the Guichun River that I realized that green river water can also be very clean. When it is still, it is like a square of emerald, and when it moves, it is like pearls bursting out. Not to mention the beautiful scenery in the early morning, when a thin layer of mist covers the water and the light golden sunlight shines on it.

As a boundary river, Guichun River separates China and Vietnam. Looking from the river bank to the other side, the houses look neat and tidy. The road is also well built, much better than the road I took from Pingxiang to Hanoi one year ago. I don’t know if it’s because of the country’s dignity. Just when you get to the scenic spot, you can see the difference. You can take a boat to the Detian Waterfall to watch it. There is an endless stream of boats on the Chinese side, and every boat is full of people, while the Vietnamese side is deserted and deserted. On a boat that came out, there were Western faces. Everyone laughed and said that they had found happiness at this time.

The waterfall flew down, spanning the two countries, like thousands of horses galloping, majestic. After falling into the pool, it immediately became quiet, leaving only a pool of clear water.

After viewing the waterfall, continue towards the source. You can also see boundary monument No. 53, which is also a tourist spot in the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area. The monument on the Chinese side was erected during the Qing Dynasty, and the one on the Vietnamese side is relatively new - later I also saw a Chinese boundary monument in the hotel, which was of the same format as the one in Vietnam. I think the boundary monument No. 53 was also used to declare "Since ancient times".

The two border towns and the scenic spots can be visited in two days, but if you want to savor it carefully, I think it is worth spending a week to live a leisurely pastoral life and look at the scenery on the other side of the river. country. Just jogging by the Guichun River every morning is a very desirable thing.

Goodbye Jingxi, goodbye Daxin, I will come again~
