Does Panzhihua border Lijiang?

Panzhihua city at the prefecture level borders Lijiang city at the prefecture level. The west of Panzhihua City borders on Huaping County of Lijiang City; Renhe District of Panzhihua City borders Huaping County of Lijiang City; Yanbian County of Panzhihua City borders Huaping County and Ninglang Yi Autonomous County of Lijiang City at the same time.

Part of Jiangbei in the west of Panzhihua City (except Xinzhuang), futian town in Renhe District and part of Tongde Town in Bude Town in Renhe District were all under the jurisdiction of Huaping County. In the 1960s, Panzhihua was born in the third-line construction. These places belong to Panzhihua and are the founding members of Panzhihua, so they become municipal districts. Of course, the biggest contributor is Yongren County, Wei Chu. Yongren was originally Yongding and Renhe. After the export of Renhe (including Bingcaogang, Dadukou, Taojiadu and Jinjiang), the area and population were lost by half. Huili also contributed to Tongzilin, Hongge, Heai and other Jiangdong areas, and became a part of the municipal district. However, in the 1990s, due to Ertan immigrants, it needed to be compensated to Yanbian County. As for the old Yanbian part of Miyi County and Yanbian County, it used to belong to Xichang area, and it was not until Xichang area 1978 was merged into Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture that it was placed under Dukou City, so the two counties were new members.
