Relevant regulations and procedures for obtaining the right of abode in Cambodia and immigration

(1) residence permit

According to the Cambodian Immigration Law, foreigners who arrive in Cambodia with a commercial visa must apply for a residence permit within 2 days after arriving at the foreigner's office of the provincial and municipal police headquarters where they live. The police station shall immediately issue the residence permit after receiving the application from the parties concerned.

The first application for residence permit is valid for 2 years, and an extension must be applied to the original applicant.

(2) Immigration

According to Chapter IV of Cambodian Immigration Law, those who can accept investment immigrants include:

(1) people who went to Cambodia to investigate the possibility of investment;

(2) Having obtained an investment license;

Interested applicants must also meet the following conditions before applying for immigration to the Cambodian Ministry of Interior:

Must have skills beneficial to Cambodia's economy, society and culture;

You must pay a deposit to prove that you have the ability to return to China and have enough living expenses;

The health certificate should be issued by the medical department of the country where the immigrant belongs;

Work contract;

The government did not issue a wanted notice to the applicant.
