Is it faster to get a green card after parents take fingerprints?
It is not faster to get a green card just by getting fingerprinted.
It usually takes 3 to 5 months from fingerprinting to receiving a new green card, so it takes about 6 months from submitting an application to receiving a new green card. If you do not receive a green card within 6 months after approval, it is recommended to submit G-731 to the Immigration Service Center for inquiry. If the inquiry is fruitless, you need to reapply.
