_ What does UCI in Canada mean?

What is the UCI number of Canadian visa? UIC means the applicant's account number, so ask what this account number means. This account, like everyone's identity account, has a unique identification function. This account will appear on the official documents issued by the Immigration Bureau, and everyone will have a UIC number after applying for a visa. This number has eight digits.

Remarks:

When you first apply for a Canadian visa, you won't have a UCI number. Please fill in "Not applicable" under the corresponding form. If you can't enter N/A in the online application, you can leave it blank.

How to get Canadian UCI?

Open your visa, work permit or study permit. If it is a visa, you will see a string of 8 digits in the lower right corner. This is the UCI number. If it is permitted, you will see a UCI/IUC number in the upper right corner, 0000-0000, with 8 digits.

Remarks:

This number will appear on your first visa page. Some visas will show FPA0000-0000, which is also the UCI number. Different names, but the same number.

Universal client authentication number (UCI, or unique client authentication identifier. This is an 8-digit code. Anyone who has submitted a Canadian visa application will automatically generate this number, which is almost always related to your personal identity. No matter how many times you submit and what kind of application, the internal system of Citizenship and Immigration Canada can directly and quickly identify your identity.

If it is your first time to submit a visa application, of course, there is no UCI, you can leave it blank on the visa application form.

To submit a second visa application, or update it later, you need to provide this UCI. For example:

For example, this UCI will also appear on the student visa application form.

If the embassy sends an email asking for supplementary documents, the letter must include UCI.

UCI is on the study permit issued after entering Canada.

If you go to work, you will also have UCI on your work permit after you enter Canada.

In a word, UCI is a code issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to foreigners for easy identification and communication.
