What is the relationship between Dalian and Shandong?
Dalian and Yantai are real blood relatives cities. Dalian people are basically descendants of Yantai people. They started traveling eastward, so Dalian dialect is similar to Yantai dialect, and all aspects of customs are similar! "
The spread of Jiaoliao Mandarin from its base area, Shandong Peninsula, across the sea to the northeast was entirely caused by the large-scale migration of Shandong population to the northeast since the Qing Dynasty. "The immigrants from Liaodong Peninsula mainly came from Dengzhou Prefecture and Laizhou Prefecture in Shandong Province, and the time of immigration was concentrated in the early and middle period of the Qing Dynasty. The dialects of immigrants from Jiaodong Peninsula laid the foundation for Dalian, Dandong and Yingkou dialects. " When foreigners first arrive in Yantai, they often say: Why is Yantai dialect like this? It doesn't sound like Shandong dialect at all.
Similarly, when Yantai people first arrive in Dalian, they often say: Why is Dalian dialect like this? Sounds like Yantai dialect.
That's right. "Shandong dialect" is named after the administrative region. However, in practice, languages will not be completely separated with administrative regions, and there will even be great differences. In other words, there is no such dialect as "Shandong dialect". According to the research of linguists, China Mandarin is divided into eight regions, namely, northeastern mandarin, Northern Mandarin, Jiaoliao Mandarin, Beijing Mandarin, Zhongyuan Mandarin, Lanyin Mandarin, Jianghuai Mandarin and Southwest Mandarin. Shandong dialect belongs to three mandarin areas: eastern Shandong belongs to Jiaoliao Mandarin, northern Shandong belongs to northern Mandarin, and southern Shandong belongs to Central Plains Mandarin. There are great differences among the three mandarin dialects, among which Jiaoliao Mandarin is quite different from the other two mandarin dialects, especially the Lian Deng dialect in Jiaoliao Mandarin is quite different from other places in pronunciation and intonation, which is also the reason why "Yantai Dialect" is not like "Shandong Dialect". Qingzhou dialect refers to all areas except Shouguang and Changle in Weifang City, Shandong Province, all areas except Laixi in Qingdao City, Wulian County in Laizhou City and Rizhao City, Yishui County and Mengyin County in the north of Linyi City. Although this dialect belongs to Jiaoliao Mandarin area, it is quite different from Jiaoliao Mandarin which belongs to the same dialect area. On the contrary, it has many similarities with Jilu Mandarin, especially in pronunciation, basic vocabulary and idioms. In particular, its tone system is almost the same as Jilu Mandarin, but almost the same as Jiaoliao Mandarin, except that Qingdao dialect and Laizhou dialect are slightly out of tune.
According to scholars' division, Yantai dialect belongs to Jiaoliao Mandarin area in northern Mandarin. Jiaoliao Mandarin is generally distributed in Shandong Peninsula and Liaodong Peninsula. According to the pronunciation characteristics, Jiaoliao Mandarin can be divided into three parts: Gaihuan, Lian Deng and Qingzhou. There is a big difference between the three films. Yantai and Dalian belong to the Lian Deng section of Jiaoliao Mandarin, so the accents of Yantai and Dalian are basically similar, but the gap between Yantai and Qingdao, Dalian and Yingkou is smaller.
Where on earth are Jiaoliao Mandarin spoken in Lian Deng? There are four parts:
1. Jiaodong Peninsula, including Weihai, Rongcheng, Wendeng, Rushan, Yantai, Mu Ping, Haiyang, Long Island, Penglai, Longkou, Fushan, Zhaoyuan, Qixia, Laiyang and Laixi.
2 Liaodong Peninsula, including Dalian, Lushun, Pulandian, Wafangdian, Zhuanghe, Jinzhou, Donggang and Dandong.
Hulin dialect island: most areas of Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province.
4. Ertun dialect island: most of Fuyuan County, Heilongjiang Province.
The two dialect islands are typical sequelae of "de-orientalization", but according to people, due to the convenient transportation, the communication between people has increased, and only people over 40 years old (especially in rural areas) in the two dialect islands speak Jiaoliao dialect, while all young people have changed to speak Northeast dialect. It is only a matter of time before these two dialect islands disappear.
The characteristics of Jiaoliao Mandarin are as follows: the main features are that the ancient voiced entering tone words are pronounced in the upper voice today, the ancient voiced entering tone words are pronounced in the lower voice today, and the ancient voiced entering tone words are pronounced in the upper voice today. The initials zh, ch and sh are far less than those in Mandarin. There is no beginning of r; The first letters z, c, s, d, t, l will lose the u middle tone when spelled with closed vowels. Tones are flat (3 12), flat (34 or 35), rising (2 13) and falling (53 or 52), but they are quite different from Mandarin. (
