Baggage Claim

After passing the border inspection, you arrive at the baggage hall. At this time, you need to find your flight number on the information board in the baggage hall to confirm which carousel you are waiting for. Checked baggage. When you get your checked baggage back, use the baggage tag to identify whether you have picked it up by mistake. If your luggage is damaged or your checked luggage is not found, please contact airport staff directly.

Customs (Customs)

After getting your luggage, you will officially enter Australia after passing customs inspection. At this time, a customs official will ask if there is anything to declare. Border Inspection-Smart Gate Instructions for Use

Step 1: Self-service kiosk (SmartGate Kiosk)

Insert the electronic passport into the self-service kiosk ( (Photo side down), confirm acceptance of the privacy statement, and answer a few questions using the touch screen. Two of the most common questions are, Have you been to South America or Africa recently? And are all the questions you answered correct? Simple questions, but there is no guarantee that they will all be the same questions and order. If your parents can’t understand, don’t answer casually.

If the requirements are met, the machine will print out a customs clearance ticket (SmartGate Ticket)

Step 2: Self-service clearance gate (Gate)

Will print out the customs clearance ticket Insert your SmartGate Ticket into the machine, take off your hat, glasses, and scarf, and look up at the camera in front of you. Your profile picture will be taken and compared with the photo on your electronic passport.

If the self-service clearance is successful, the gate will open automatically. Please take back the receipt and keep it properly, go through the gate and go to the baggage hall by yourself.

Step 3: After picking up your luggage, you need to hand the receipt and the filled-in Incoming Passenger Card to the immigration officer.
