What's the difference between Salar and Hui?

The difference between them is the distribution and origin.

1, different distribution: Salars are mainly distributed in Qinghai Province, mainly in Xunhua Salar Autonomous County of Qinghai Province, as well as parts of Hualong Hui Autonomous County of Gansu Province and Dongxiang Salar Autonomous County of Jishishan Baoan Nationality. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is the region with the most concentrated Hui population, and Yinchuan, the capital, is an important center of Hui culture.

1, different distribution: Salars originated in Samarkand, Central Asia, and now mainly live in parts of Qinghai and Gansu, with unique Salar language and cultural customs, such as "crowded doors" at weddings. Hui nationality originated from the integration of immigrants from Persia, Arabia and the Central Plains nationalities, and it is widely distributed, especially in Ningxia.
