The ecology is greatly affected by this, and the crops are basically abandoned and cannot be treated in the later stage. The main rival was Professor Huang Wanli, and he was right. The main problem against the Three Gorges Project is still worrying about sediment deposition. There are other aspects, such as the impact of the ecological environment (but I think the Three Gorges Project will only be beneficial to the ecology but not harmful), the endangered aquatic fish, the destruction of cultural relics and historical sites, and the resettlement of millions of immigrants. These are the main disadvantages, so there will be objections. But on the whole, the advantages of the Three Gorges Project outweigh the disadvantages.
