Please give me a brief introduction to the Loess Plateau.

Loess Plateau is the plateau with the largest loess coverage area in the world, also known as Yajin Plateau. Located in the north of central China. The altitude is above 1000 meters. Except for a few rocky mountains, the plateau is covered with a deep loess layer with a thickness of 50 ~ 80 meters, and the thickest reaches 150 ~ 180 meters. The Loess Plateau is rich in mineral resources, with huge reserves of coal, iron ore and rare earth minerals.
